was a festival of fun events put on between 14th June and 22nd June all around Stevenage.
The aim was to get to know more folk in town, and to gently introduce people to Jesus Christ.
The events have now finished.
Glen Scrivener asks “Who is Jesus?”
Why Does God Allow Suffering? Glen Scrivener explains:
The three central events were designed to help people to start investigating Jesus:
These events took place at the Thomas Alleyne Academy, just off the High Street in Old Stevenage, SG1 3BE.
No one was expected to pay, pray or sing – just to walk in, take a seat, and listen for as long as you wanted
The events all started with some Christian entertainment, followed by an interview with someone who had discovered Jesus for themselves, about how they found answers to their questions and what difference he makes in their everyday lives.
Each evening concluded with a half-hour talk by Glen Scrivener who loves to explain the life and work of Jesus Christ in a lively way. He bases his talks on passages from John’s gospel and a copy of this little book was available on each seat, for each guest to take away, free of charge.
Additional free books were available at the bookstall.
